Najlepszym dowodem na to, czym jest dziÅ› Coldplay może być fakt transmitowania ich koncertów na żywo nawet poprzez Youtube. Mamy do czynienia z muzycznÄ… instytucjÄ…, ale czy to źle w przypadku, kiedy instytucja swojÄ… muzykÄ… broni siÄ™ sama? |

Chris Martin, wokalista zespoÅ‚u, prywatnie i publicznie mąż Gwyneth Paltrow, zapowiadaÅ‚, że pÅ‚yta jest koncept-albumem, bardziej intymnÄ… od poprzedniej historiÄ… miÅ‚osnÄ… z happy endem inspirowanÄ… popularnym serialem telewizyjnym „The Wire”. Ta nadÄ™ta artystowska wizja, idÄ…c Å›ladem „Viva La Vida” jest raczej żaluzjÄ… powiewajÄ…ca na przestrzennym zefirku, tj. profesjonalnie skrojonych utworkach na pÅ‚ycie.
Coldplay od zawsze byÅ‚ dla mnie uÅ›ciÅ›niÄ™ciem rÄ™ki pomiÄ™dzy niszowÄ… kakofoniÄ… artystów majspejsowskich a obraźliwÄ… tandetÄ… list przebojów. I to też sztuka.
