Zespół powstał na początku lat 90. ubiegłego wieku. Przełomowym momentem w jego karierze stał się występ na festiwalu w Jarocinie w 1993 roku, gdzie muzycy zgarnęli większość nagród. Rok później wydali debiutancką płytę, która sprzedała się w ponad 70 tys. egzemplarzy.
