W dniach 15-16 lipca odbędzie się Ladies' Jazz Festival Gdynia 2005. To pierwsza tego typu impreza w Europie. Jej dyrektorem został Piotr Łyszkiewicz, któremu dotychczas udało się potwierdzić występy m.in. Ive Mendes oraz Yvonne Sanchez. Wśród potencjalnych gwiazd zagranicznych w orbicie jego zainteresowań są także Eliane Ellias, Stacey Kent, Rachel Z, Viktoria Tolstoy, Pamela Williams, Jane Bunnett, Paula Atherton i Patricia Barber.
