 Mariusz "Dominator" Pudzianowski jest najsilniejszym człowiekiem w Europie. Podczas dwudniowych mistrzostw Starego Kontynentu w Sandomierzu Polak zdeklasował rywali i obronił tytuł. Nad wicemistrzem Europy, Jarosławem Dymkiem miał aż 10 punktów przewagi, co w tej dyscyplinie jest ogromną różnicą. Zacięta była walka o srebrny medal - Dymek zapewnił go sobie dopiero w ostatniej konkurencji także broniąc wicemistrzostwa Europy. |
Trzecie miejsce zajął Łotysz Raimonds Bergmanis. Przez dwa dni zmagania ośmiu najsilniejszych ludzi Europy na zamku i Rynku w Sandomierzu oglądało blisko dziesięć tysięcy widzów. Perfekcyjnie zorganizowane zawody chwaliły władze organizacji Strong Man. Być może dzięki temu w Sandomierzu odbędzie się jedna z rund Pucharu Świata.
