Co miesiąc każde województwo otrzymuje dwuzłotową monetę. Jest ona wykonana ze stopu CuAl5Zn5Sn, czyli tzw. Nordic Gold. Ma 27 milimetrów średnicy i waży 8,15 g. Projekt rewersu z herbem przygotowała Ewa Olszewska-Borys.
