Na temat zakupu trzeciej części tryptyku upamiętniającego wkroczenie Legionów Piłsudskiego do Kielc w sierpniu 1914 roku rozmawiał dziś prezydent Kielc z dyrektorami Muzeum Narodowego w Kielcach Krzysztofem Urbańskim i Ryszardem de Latour. |
Stan techniczny "Walki strzelców pod Karczówką" Stanisława Kaczora Batowskiego jest, zdaniem specjalistów bez zarzutu, nie budzi także zastrzeżeń autentyczność tego dzieła. Prezydent zaproponował, aby Muzeum zajęło się negocjacjami, a po zakupie prezentacją obrazu. Środki finansowe na transakcję przekaże Miasto. Kielce wystąpią także do Muzeum Wojska Polskiego w Kołobrzegu w sprawie przekazania naszej placówce w depozyt pierwszej części tryptyku, która znajduje się w tamtejszych zbiorach. Druga część dzieła zajmuje centralne miejsce w Sanktuarium Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego w Muzeum Narodowym w Kielcach. Urząd Miasta Kielce
