 W neolitycznych kopalniach w Krzemionkach otwarto nową podziemną trasę turystyczną. Powstała z połączenia dwóch dotychczasowych tras, ma ok. 480 metrów długości i wiedzie przez kilkanaście kopalń krzemienia pasiastego sprzed kilku tysięcy lat. Znacznie ułatwi to zwiedzanie. |
Do tej pory kopalnie odwiedzało nieco ponad 30 tys. turystów rocznie. Dyrekcja Muzeum Archeologiczno-Historycznego w Ostrowcu Świętokrzyskim, którego oddziałem są Krzemionki, liczy na podwojenie tej liczby.
