 Nikt chyba nie oczekiwał jakiegokolwiek intelektualnego wyzwania. To nie ta klasa filmu. Taka produkcja to po prostu czysta zabawa nie skrępowana ani prawami fizyki, ani biologii ani nawet faktem, że prawdziwy Van Helsing miał na imię Abraham, a nie Daniel... |
Moim zdaniem film jest świetny - reżyser od początku zasugerował nam, że nie możemy traktować jego dzieła na poważnie - stąd "afektowany" wampir i początek jak z horrorów z Bellą Lugosim. Potem jest odwołanie do "Ligi niezwykłych dżentelmenów" (bo dr Hyde niewiele ma wspólnego z literackim pierwowzorem :) i odpowiednik Q z filmów o Bondzie. A dalej już można tylko "wyluzować" i po prostu dobrze się bawić - choćby nawet przewidując na podstawie filmowych schematów, co teraz zrobią bohaterowie... Jak na mój gust może trochę za mało humoru ale ilość ryków, upadków, skoków z potrójnym saltem i kobiet w gorsetach i z mieczami jest aż nadto zadowalająca. Polecam! Zwłaszcza dla kogoś, kto miał zły dzień...
