 Ponad 6 godzin trwała we wtorek wędrówka Wenus przez tarczę słoneczną. Studenci z koła naukowego Kwazar i naukowcy z Akademii Świętokrzyskiej zorganizowali specjalny pokaz, podczas którego można było oglądać to rzadkie zjawisko. |
Na tarasie przed obserwatorium astronomicznym budynku Wydziału Matematyczno-Przyrodniczego ustawiono lunety, z których obraz padał na biały ekran. Obejrzały go prawdziwe tłumy miłośników astronomii - przybyły nawet zorganizowane wycieczki. 
- Gdy Wenus weszła przed tarczę słoneczną o 7.19, baliśmy się, że pokaz się nie uda, bo niebo było dokładnie zakryte chmurami. Potem jednak się rozpogodziło i wszystko było doskonale widać - mówi dr Janusz Krywult z Instytutu Fizyki AŚ.
