Świętokrzyski Urząd Wojewódzki wyróżniono w konkursie na Najbardziej Przyjazny Urząd Administracji Rządowej. Placówka z Kielc te najwyższe laury zdobyła w pierwszej edycji konkursu w 2001 roku, w tym stanęła tuż za podium. |
Kontrola polegała m.in. na wizytach "tajemniczego petenta", który w urzędzie załatwiał podstawowe sprawy. Konkurs został ogłoszony przez Szefa Służby Cywilnej. przystąpiło do niego 228 urzędów administracji, ale na nominacje zasłużyło tylko 11 z nich. Przyznano 2 główne tytuły i 6 sześć wyróżnień.
