Liegmann pochodzi z Gdańska, studiowała na Wydziale Sztuk Pięknych UMK w Toruniu. Studia podyplomowe skończyła w Gray's School of Art w Aberdeen w Szkocji dzięki stypendium z The British Council. Artystka ma na swoim koncie wiele wystaw indywidualnych i zbiorowych w kraju i za granicą. Jej prace balansują na granicy sztuki i kiczu, przez co łatwo dostrzec w nich ironiczny stosunek do rzeczywistości i zainteresowania wytworami masowej, tandetnej produkcji.
