Spektakl oparty jest na monologach amerykańskiego dramaturga Erica Bogosiana, okrzykniętego skandalistą, gorszycielem, a także rockowym wieszczem i sumieniem Ameryki. |
Akcja rozgrywa się podczas telewizyjnego talk-show, w którym biorą udział różnorodne typy ludzkie - od kloszarda przez cynicznego biznesmena po chciwego lekarza. Z ich monologów wyłania się obraz dzisiejszego społeczeństwa konsumpcyjnego, poddanego zjadliwej i satyrycznej obserwacji.
Tomasz Obara, który wcieli się w te wszystkie postacie, to aktor i reżyser znany już w Kielcach. W 1994 roku wyreżyserował bowiem w Teatrze Żeromskiego spektakl "Lekcja polskiego" Anny Bojarskiej. Premiera monodramu, z którym wystąpi w niedzielę, odbyła się w 2000 roku w Teatrze STU w Krakowie.
